About Stavros Angelidis (My Story)
I have worked across companies in Europe, the Middle East, and the United States for more than 25 years. During this time, I have been involved in numerous projects focused on operational improvement.
In my early career, during the 1990s and early 2000s, I focused on technology projects. I designed systems and made key decisions for projects that improved how people collaborate and how organizations manage their work.
My background in both business and IT meant I was well-positioned for this role and since technology was transforming every office at the time. Most organizations needed help managing that change. I worked across various industries: hospitality, automotive, HR, software development, e-business, and digital marketing.
Working on these projects allowed me to see what works and what doesn't. I dealt with real resistance to change, organizational challenges, and difficult decisions. This experience showed me that technology alone was not enough. I needed to understand the deeper mechanics of how organizations actually work.
This led me to study business process improvement in depth. I learned about process analysis, root-cause analysis, and lean methodologies. I realized that while experience matters most, having formal knowledge of proven methods is also important. That's why I pursued certifications in Lean Management, Lean Six Sigma, and Business Process Improvement.These methodologies have been used by the world's largest organizations since the 1980s. Today, they are used across all industries and business sizes because they work.
Leadership rolesMy professional roles have also shaped how I work. As a project manager, general manager, COO, and business partner, I have worked on hundreds of projects over 25 years. These different positions gave me the experience to understand organizational operations and what truly drives efficiency and growth.
I can understand an organization quickly. I can see problems and opportunities that internal teams sometimes miss. Often, this has led me to become a trusted advisor to management and leadership teams; not just for operations, but for larger business questions and important strategic decisions.
